I saw a post awhile back that read "Dear Jesus, please save me from your followers". While I'm not naive, yet as a Christian I actually think this is a great prayer as we're terrible people by contrast. And the moment someone realizes they need Jesus, and not me, well that is a wonderful revelation. I will let you down, I will fail to deliver, I will upset you unjustly, I will sin against you. I'm sorry.
But please don't let me be your reason for not reaching out to Him. If someone played Beethoven on the piano and did a terrible job, you wouldn't blame Beethoven. Likewise if I don't "play" Christ well in my life you shouldn't blame Christ. I'm me, not Him, if I were sin-free like Him, I wouldn't need His sacrifice, but as it is, I need someone like Him who will love me unconditionally because if there were any condition...I would most definitely be disqualified.

Have some feedback, insight, questions, comments, prayer requests, etc? Maybe you just want to share what God is doing in your life (I love praise reports), or maybe you can relate to some of the things here and need an ear. I'd love to hear from you!
