A young boy recently asked Frank Turek why God didn't stop the bullet that killed Charlie Kirk (https://www.youtube.com/shorts/pGC6IbtzR_Q). Frank's answer was spot on, and time was limited as that room was packed with people having questions, but there's one thing I would add to his response. How many people were saved because of this same bullet? I don't mean to minimize the atrocity that was committed here, but many times in scripture we see God taking what man meant for evil and using it for good. I think what Joseph said to those who did evil to him, Charlie could also say to the one who committed this horrific act against him:

"As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to keep many people alive." - Genesis 50:20

Did you see how many people stood up at Charlie Kirk's memorial service to receive Christ for the first time? I believe it was in the thousands. And not since 9/11/2001 have I seen the country come together like this in unity.

Charlie may at this moment, be seeing people in heaven who were specifically reached by God through this horrific act that maybe wouldn't have been reached otherwise. Therefore, I can confidently say, now that Charlie knows in full (1 Cor. 13:12) and is seeing everything from an eternal perspective, that he is profusely happy the family that was added through this act, and I bet he wouldn't trade for anything in the world. The brother or sister saved, that Charlie now loves with the love of Christ and enjoys perfect fellowship with, is far more important to him than what was his momentary affliction (2 Cor. 4:17-18).
